Two Things To Consider When Using Olive Leaf Extract

Olive leaf extract is effective with some people, and some others consider it as rubbish. Why this happens?
Simply because of two things.

1- Olive Leaf Extract Dose
If olive leaf is taken in a low dose it would not be effective.
When it comes to olive leaf dose, it depends on some factors. The type of the disease, the severity of the disease and the dosage form.

When we talk about the type of the disease. The dose used for diabetes is different from the dose used for hypertension. For example, in diabetic patients they should take one cup of olive leaf tea three times daily.

Regarding the severity of illness. You should take small dose of olive leaf extract to maintain good health and support your immunity, this is the dose which are written on the extract daily dose, you should increase the dose with the severe conditions. When treating flu as an example, you should take higher dose. In other words, as the condition is more severe you can increase the dose. The good news is Olive leaf extract is safe in a very high doses.
Because there are two forms dried leaves tea, extract from dried leaf and extract from fresh leaves. It is really difficult to say specific dose or universal dose for all of the dosage forms.

2- The Type Of Olive Leaf Extract
There are two types of the extracts. Olive leaf extract from dried leaves, and the other type from freshly picked olive leaves. The potent antioxidant one is the second type as it contains a high concentration of phenol compounds and olueropin. Thus, we should take the right dose from olive leaf tea or extract to get its benefits. I also recommend the potent form of the extract from freshly picked olive leaves, although it is the most expensive form. It still the most useful form.
